5- Take a pause to structure your response: You are not rushing to catch any flight. Relax. Be at ease. Don’t be too relaxed that you end up not taking this too seriously, but maintain a fine balance – and calm and composed demeanor.
Humanize the interview – you are not a robot. So when you’re asked a question it is more than OK to pause and structure your response. The interview will appreciate it. You have one chance to give the right answer – the worst moment is when you walk out of the interview and suddenly all the ”right”answers flow into your head and you’re kicking yourself in regret thinking ”damn I wish I had said this!!”
So take your time, structure your reply. Be quick to say all the things the ”interviewer wants to hear”. You can simple just say – ”If you don’t mind, allow me a minute to structure my response.”
