4.Depression – Needless to say, bargaining is such a futile waste of energy that by the end of it your mind is numb and you can’t think. You have tried to distract yourself, superficially when you were in the previous stage, but now being surrounded by a room full of people giving you attention, still makes you feel horribly alone. You cease to feel the same as you did before. You reminisce the person you were back in the day, with the person that existed back in the day. You stare into the distance because you can’t look at what is around you. You lose hope. You couldn’t care less about the things that you still have. You are at the lowest ebb. You hit rock bottom. You want to sit alone in your room, not necessarily cry because by this time your body is exhausted. So you wait, wait for a miracle to happen. You wait for someone to walk into the room and blow fresh air on you that somehow suddenly will make you feel alive. You are yearning to feel again, you are aware you are numb but cannot seem to be able to do anything about it.
