There is no substitute to love. We have loved people in different ways and they all have unique rooms in our gigantic hearts. No one love can replace the other. Nor can love be used and re-used. Our bodies and minds work in such a way that only the experience of grieving can make us feel whole-er. Time truly heals. When you lose something, feel the pain, cry, let yourself fall. You are human; you cannot control the urge to lose control. But eventually, you spiral back into being who you were, only stronger and wiser after the experience of loss. It teaches you about life, it teaches you about yourself. Take time, but accept that time will heal you, and you need to let yourself heal with time.
What helps the most is in the end, you look back and you feel blessed because you experienced a beautiful time with the person you loved, and you will always continue to secretly cherish that karmic contract forever.
